One evening, Lana and Beth are reading a magazine. They read about artists’ glamorous life.
Lana : Look what I’ve found! Haris Pilton just bought a luxurious car. Didn’t she have bought one
not long time ago?
Beth : Oh…come on, don’t be so surprised! She has a bed of roses. They all have it, you know.
Lana : I know, right...but it’s not necessary, though.
Beth : Yeah. I couldn’t agree more.
Lana : Gosh! Ciley Myrus buys sunglasses for 1000$. I don’t understand what it is good for, to spend
a lot of money only for sunglasses. I can tell that it’s not necessary at all.
Beth : Maybe they will realize it when they get a pretty pass. It’s better if they save their money as a
nest egg.
Lana : Or spend it for charity instead like Saylor Twift and Lennifer Jawrence.
Beth : That’s right. Luckily, there are still many artists who are hunky-dory.
Lana : Well… I think I should go home now.
Beth : Does time go that fast?
Lana : Well…See you tomorrow at school. Don’t forget to finish your homework, huh.
Beth : Thank you for reminding me, lol. See you.
Note:
A bed of roses : luxurious and delightful life.
A pretty pass : inopportune circumstance.
A nest egg : savings for old age provisions.
Hunky-dory : very kind-hearted.
